PhotobucketWell It's Friday five time again. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of Friday Five and allowing me participate and help decide what is posted. Here are my five High School Moments1. First Boyfriend. I got my first boyfriend named John when I was a junior in high school. He was a grade ahead of me and broke my heart when he went to college. I was a Senior when he went to college and he went off to college and got with a college girl. I guess I was about 18 and I was crushed.2.  Putting Banana Cream Gravy in Beef a Roni. LOL. I worked in a Cafeteria at a boarding academy my Junior year. I was asked one day to make Vegetarian Beef a Roni I was suppose to put cream of mushroom soup in it. We had some Banana Cream Gravy that is sweet and goes well over coffee cake. We had some left over in the refrigerator as well as cream of Mushroom soup. I grabbed the Banana cream gravy. OOPs I thought the Cafeteria Manager would throw it out. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! She made me cook it and serve it. What a mess. I heard around talk around the room .  It taste like it has bananas in it. Can you imagine banana beef a roni.  Gross. I didn't eat it!!3.  Running for student Counsel. I ran for Student Counsel my Sophomore year but I lost because I was the newbie.4. Getting a Car for my graduation present from my parents. I was so excited. It was a 1981 Honda Accord hatch back. I graduated in 1986.5. I must say that my most memorable is actually walking up and getting my high school diploma. It was memorable to me because I felt like I actually accomplished something for the first time in my life.

Good memories to be sure. It's a wonder there wasn't banana beef-a-roni vomit for the janitors to clean up at the end of THAT day of your Junior year... Did you ever talk to John again? My first boyfriend in H.S. was Jon but he was so indifferent it didn't last with us.

I am quite glad I didn't have to eat the banana Beef a Roni LOL

I think we've all done a food flub or two in our lives... if not in school then certainly at a fast food type of job.
